Specialty Pharmacy initiative- an effort within the pharmacy department of a large health insurer to manage the costs of emerging high cost medications.
Consumer Directed Health Care initiative- A key focus of this project for a large health insurer was providing the consumer with tools to assess the relative quality and cost of hospitals and physicians, tools to manage effectively their own health conditions and programs to provide incentives to the member to engage in healthy behaviors.
Accountable Care Organization (ACO) initiative- Led the startup phase of Information Technology development for a national health insurer. Finalized project scope and budget, created project charter, and obtained commitments for project resources across multiple IT departments.
Health Care Reform project- Coordinated estimating process within the Clinical IT department for a national health insurer.
Clinical Quality initiative- Provide leadership to a team of project managers and subject matter experts spanning Disease Management, Preventive Health, Remote Patient Monitoring, Health Policy, Health Disparities and other programs designed to raise the health status of members.
Cost Reduction project for a global energy company- Led the startup of a cost reduction project using methodology established by the European corporate parent. Collaborated with European counterparts to adapt processes for the US operation, created operational policies, established a domestic governance process.
